Protonix decreases the quantity of acid that is produced in the stomach. It can be used together with antibiotic. This medicine can also be used for other purposes.

Take the drug exactly as it was directed for you. Don’t stop using Protonix even though you start to feel better. Don’t crush, split, or chew the tablets. Swallow the drug whole.

Before using the drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist about any medical conditions such as pregnancy, breast-feedings or allergies.

Ask for medical help if any of the following side effects appear: any allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea or headache. Talk with your doctor about any unusual side effect.

Zantac is used to treat some medical conditions which cause the body to make stomach acid in excess. It’s also taken to treat sores of the small intestine.

Don’t take Zantac if you have any allergic reaction to any Zantac component, if you have blood disease, if you’re taking dasatinib.
